Gibson Les Paul Classic Ebony 1992 - First Edition -

This is not the regular Les Paul Classic but the first edition that started in 1989 and stopped around 1993 !
What's so different about them ?
They were kind of the pre-historic 1960 reissue but cheaper than the "proper" reissue of the era

• Silkscreen says "Les Paul Model" (1989-1993) instead of "Les Paul Classic" (1993-now)
• Thinner headstock shape (like the original)
• Pre-historic logo
• Vintage push-in tuners
• Ink stamped serial number
• ABR-1

Condition and mods:

-This specific example has had a headstock break but was professionally repaired a while ago (with 2 wooden dowels).
-Previous owner has replaced the abr-1 (original is included in the case) for a 90s Schaller nashville (bushings were also added in the process).
-Pots were swapped out for other CTS (original are included too)
-Tailpiece have been replaced too (it should have been nickel instead of chrome)
-Other than this it has just a few dings and scratches but no buckle rash or deep dents
-Frets are in a really good shape
-Truss rod is working fine
