In very good vintage state, strong stable chairs with rush seat in good condition. Some colour changes what gives them a unique look. For more photos or welcome to come and see them!
The iconic Carimate chair was designed by influential designer & architect Vico Magistretti in 1959 for the Club House of the Carimate Golf Club in Lombardy. In 1962 Cassina began producing the chairs to the wider market. This design was first imported into Britain by Terence Conran around 1962 and sold through his store ‘Habitat’ and still exhibits in the MoMA in New York.
