DIN rail mounted distribution box for Modbus RTU communication and power supply (24 VDC and 3.3 VDC). If the DMDBM22 distribution box receives a PoM data signal with 24 VDC and with 3.3 VDC power supply via one of its RJ45 or RJ12 connectors, it can distribute this data signal and the power supply to other PoM devices. It does not have a built-in conversion to a 3.3 VDC PoM power supply. For this you need to use the DLDBM22. The DLDB22 has 10x RJ45 connector (24 VDC) and 12x RJ12 connector (3.3 VDC). Maximum distributed current: 1.5 A.

Ten RJ45 connectorsAn RJ45 jack or connector is a standardized physical interface used to connect Ethernet cables to network devices . It is the most widely used connector type for Ethernet connections in both residential and commercial environments. It is also the standard for connecting Sentera's Power over Modbus RTU devices .
The term RJ45 stands for Registered Jack 45 and refers to the wiring standard used for the connector. It is an 8-pin connector designed to transmit data and power over twisted pair cables . RJ45 connections provide a convenient and reliable way to connect devices.
This Modbus RTU distribution box has ten RJ45 connections . The RJ45 connections are connected internally (parallel connection). Sentera devices with 24 VDC power can be connected via the RJ45 sockets - PoM connection. The Sentera PoM connection distributes both Modbus RTU communication and 24 VDC power supply via a single UTP cable with an RJ45 connector. This distribution box simplifies the wiring and connection of Sentera devices. Simply insert the UTP cable with an RJ45 plug into the connection until it clicks into place. The eight pins of the connector make contact with the corresponding pins in the bus, creating a secure physical connection. This enables both data transmission and reception between devices and 24 VDC power distribution.Twelve RJ12 Jacks
An RJ12 connector , also known as a 6P6C connector, is a physical interface typically used to connect telephone cables. It looks similar to an RJ45 jack, but has fewer contacts.
The term RJ12 stands for Registered Jack 12 and is designed for up to six wires or contacts. However, it is often used with 6P4C (6-position, 4-contact) wiring, which means there are six positions for wires, but usually only four contacts are used. RJ12 jacks provide a secure physical connection and allow for the transmission of data signals and the distribution of 3.3 VDC power .
Simply insert the cable with an RJ12 connector into the jack until it clicks into place. The four contacts in the socket make contact with the corresponding contacts on the plug, creating a connection for signal transmission.
The twelve RJ12 sockets can be used to connect Sentera devices with 3.3 VDC power supply. Modbus RTU communication and 3.3 VDC power supply are distributed to the connected devices via the RJ12 sockets.Maximum current
The combined current consumption of all connected devices must not exceed 1.5 A (3.3 VDC and 24 VDC devices combined).Maximum Cable Length
A Modbus RTU network must have a line topology . The maximum length of the trunk line is approximately 1,000 m . The combined length of all branches must not exceed 20 m. The housing is made of high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material is flame-retardant in the event of fire, very robust and offers good protection against impacts.
The housing offers I P20 protection against the ingress of dust and water. It is mounted on a standard DIN rail .
