George Harrison/Beatles mo s songs 6-cd set with shipping box. An unplayed mint condition copy of the first printing of mos songs, the 1994 6 cd promo only tribute to former warner brothers records chairman mo ostin, featuring george harrisons otherwise unreleased song written in honor of his close friend ostin, titled mo.
This is a 5 minute, fully produced track that harrison cut and gave to ostin, and was later only used on this tribute exclusively. The track was supposedly recorded for mo;s 50th birthday in 1977 but remained in the vault until the release in 1994 of this box set.

This elaborate package contains a bound in deluxe booklet written by ex- warner brothers Executive stan cornyn, and holds six cds of warner bros and reprise tracks by artists the legendary ostin worked with. Ostin famously signed jimi hendrix, joni mitchell, prince, and many more and this package includes tracks by them and the grateful dead, randy newman, ry cooder, rod stewart, john lennon, the travelling wilburys, rem, madonna, neil young, tiny tim and many many more this package was co-produced by recordmeccas mogul jeff gold.

Fewer than 1000 of these were made, for distribution to warner bros. Only 200 included this brown mailer box.

Everything here is in mint condition, and the cds have never been played. The package was later (limited and more cheaply packaged) reproduced for the grammy awards salute to icons award (which ostin received in 2006.)
