Beautiful uncial vintage red Opel GT 1972 after complete perfect renovation.
Currently the vehicle has 10 500 US mil!
Opel GT 1972 has been renovated by professional polish car garage what is specialised in giving another life to highway veterans since 1990!
The Opel GT prototype was first shown at the IAA in 1965 under the name Opel GT Experimental.
At the time, the vision of bringing an Opel GT sports car to the market caused as much astonishment as enthusiasm.
The floor and chassis of the car were taken from the Kadett B, while the 1.9-liter engine came from the Opel Rekord C.
Opel management faced the problem of lack of spare production capacity, so the body was produced by Chausson in France, and painting and work on the interior was entrusted to Brissonneau & Lotz.
The finished bodies were delivered to the Opel factory in Bochum, where they received the engine, gearbox and suspension.
More than half of total production was exported to the USA, where the Opel GT was considered a small Corvette.
In 1973, production of the model was discontinued, and the production run amounted to 103,463 units.

The vehicle is currently in Poland, Warsaw area.
