Deze Ford Mustang Fastback uit 66 is 20 jaar van dezelfde eigenaar geweest die hem door de jaren heen geheel omgetoverd heeft naar een GT350. Niet alleen optisch maar zeker ook technisch, de 289 K code High performance V8 van 300PK. De motor is gereviseerd 22K mile terug en uitgevoerd met de ontsteking met dubbele contactpunten en de klepdeksels zijn van een originele GT350 Shelby racer. Gekoppeld aan een gereviseerde Top loader vierbak. Zelfs de zwaarder swaybar zit gemonteerd onder deze mustang. Een nieuwe benzinetank met de vultrechter zoals het hoort in de GT. Zelfs de toerenteller en de radio afdekplaat zijn origineel Shelby. In het restauratie verslag kun je zien dat hij nog de originele vloeren heeft en dat ze gaaf zijn. Ook op de foto’s zie je alle puntlassen zitten. Wij hebben de onderkant gelaten zoals hij is na 20 jaar gebruik, erg mooi maar sporen van gebruik. Het is aan de volgende eigenaar om dat op te frissen of zo te laten. Het verslag komt natuurlijk met de auto mee. Het interieur is smetteloos en origineel, de zeer nette achterbank zit onder een zeil alsof het een originele GT is en het reservewiel ligt er op met de originele montage. De body is strak met goede pasvormen en staat zeer netjes in de lak. De Mustang heeft een Nederlands kenteken.

This 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback has belonged to the same owner for 20 years, who has completely transformed it into a GT350 over the years. Not only optically but also technically, the 289 K code High performance V8 of 300 HP. The engine was overhauled 22K miles ago and equipped with the ignition with double contact points and the valve covers are from an original GT350 Shelby racer. Linked to a reconditioned Toploader four-speed gearbox. Even the heavier sway bar is mounted under this Mustang. A new fuel tank with the filling funnel as it should be in the GT. Even the tachometer and radio cover are original Shelby. In the restoration report you can see that it still has the original floors and that they are intact. You can also see all the spot welds in the photos. We have left the bottom as it is after 20 years of use, very nice but with traces of use. It is up to the next owner to freshen it up or leave it as is. The report will of course come with the car. The interior is spotless and original, the very neat rear seat is under a tarpaulin as if it were an original GT and the spare wheel is on it with the original mounting. The body is sleek with good fits and the paint is very neat. The car has a Dutch licence.
