Kelly never did a lot of comic interior art, only 1 creepy story and a comic on Elvis Presley. However, before this comic went into print, the publisher went bankrupt, and all pages, except for 2, were lost. The former owner bought this piece from Kelly himself. This is one of the 2 Ken Kelly painted pages from this (unpublished) comic in existence. No publication rights are sold with the art! All copyright remain with the artist and/or Elvis Presley Entreprises Inc. (work is stamped verso (see the last photo) with the Presley name incorrectly spelled).

Ken W. Kelly is an American fantasy artist. Over his 30-year career, he has focused in particular on paintings in the sword and sorcery and heroic fantasy subgenres. Early in his career he was able to study the paintings of Frank Frazetta in the latter's studio. In the early 1970s he did a couple of cover paintings for Castle of Frankenstein magazine. Throughout the 1970s he was one of the foremost cover artists on warren publishings creepy and eerie magazines. He has depicted Conan the barbarian, Tarzan and the rock groups KISS, Mnowar, Sleepy Hollow, Rainbow and Ace Frehley. Kelly has been a guest at the KISS by monster mini golf course in Las Vegas, doing autograph signings of prints for the classic KISS albums he has drawn cover artwork for.
