Tsukioka Kogyo (1869-1927)r Ukiyoe artist and Japanese-style painter from the Meiji and Taisho periods. Noh printmaker. A student of Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, Ogata Gekko, and Matsumoto Fuko. He painted Noh plays based on stage scenery, and many of his works have the look of watercolor paintings, and are extravagant and elegant, using fine paper, paints, gold, and silver.
