Zemmour rugs are often characterised by repetitive cloisonné geometric patterns and bright colours.
They are made entirely by hand on an old-fashioned wooden loom by an experienced Berber weaver from the Zemmour tribe in the western part of the Middle Atlas mountains.

Each carpet has imperfections and an irregular Abrash appearance, as it was made by hand in the past.
The colours of this carpet are only due to the passage of time. It also bears a few marks and traces of wear that add to its charm and bear witness to its history.
